I created the Earth Day Heroes and Passport Book as a fun project for my son’s Preschool to celebrate Earth Day.
Each student would get a passport book and carry it with them to the various stations run by volunteers, where they would get an animal sticker to put on the subject page they visited. We even made tshirts!

Here are the passport stamps of our heroes and villains, as well as stamps representing subjects and activities the children would encounter. It was important to make the EDH a diverse group of Earth helpers, each one inspired by some of the bigger personalities in our class!
After the excitement everyone had for the Earth Day Heroes I of course wanted to work on their world more as a children’s book series. Which didn’t happen but I did add the Muckies to the lineup, which are the comical minions of The Waste Wizard. In case you missed it before, the main villain is The Waste Wizard and his right hand hench is Sam Sludge.
