Small Beginnings in a Grand Adventure

After spending my formative years working on three different MMO’s little did I know I was on to a path that would take me in to the biggest IP of the new millennium. Lord of the Rings Online, being developed by the MMO masters of Asheron’s Call, Turbine Inc. Starting as a humble environment and props artist to wet my beak. Making cheese wheels and tents for market stalls. Moving on to helping assist in making the iconic cave troll. If you get a chance to play LOTRO, do. It is one of the only games that remembers the magic of the MMO still for those of us with wanderlust and deep lore in our veins.

Fantasy Coming Out of my Ears

After my time working on LOTRO I was moved to the other side of the building to help work on Dungeons & Dragons Online. At this point I was beginning to get more creature work, seeing my love of monsters and armor, and creepy stuff. I had a chance to work on a Mimic, help design a harbor town and make the classic collection of bodies wrapped in spiderwebs. I was working with a great team at Turbine and learned so much that I still apply to my work decades later.
